Sparrow Frances is a line of fine handcrafted wood furniture created by maker and designer Nathan Dinihanian. It is inspired by the spirit and materials of the Pacific Northwest and explores an interplay between the traditional and modern with clean, straightforward designs that complement any aesthetic.
Our timeless, heirloom-quality furniture collection is built to use, to love, and to pass down. Skillfully crafted with an attention to detail using traditional joinery, sustainable and locally sourced hardwoods, and a hand-applied durable natural finish, each handmade Sparrow Frances piece can be customized to your needs. Materials are carefully selected to ensure quality and personality. Variations in wood grain and character make each piece unique.
about our process
we design and build every made-to-order piece of furniture using Oregon white oak or Oregon walnut — two native hardwoods that reflect the strength and character of the Pacific Northwest.
Every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in our workshop, honoring the natural beauty of the wood and the land it comes from. We hand select each board used and our process is intentional and connected to place and to the people who buy our work — resulting in timeless furniture made to last for generations.
